RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Perform statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, correlations, and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Automate departmental processes to enhance operational efficiency and optimizing workflows.
  • Verify the accuracy of fund performance calculations and benchmarks to ensure precise reporting and compliance.
  • Conduct performance attribution analysis for designated funds, assessing the impact of various factors on fund performance.
  • Prepare quarterly presentations for the Investment Committee, including detailed slides on fund performance and exception reporting.
  • Monitor investment exceptions, focusing on metrics such as cross trades, portfolio turnover ratios and sector concentration to ensure adherence to investment guidelines and identify potential issues.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to address specific business questions and support decision-making.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or Professional Degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Business Studies, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fund management industry or audit experience related to fund management.
  • Proven expertise in investment operations and/or fund accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high level of motivation and ownership.
  • Proficiency in VBA, SQL, Power BI, and other visualization tools.
  • Strong skills in data analysis techniques to generate actionable insights and findings.
