JOB PURPOSE

  • Direct the formulation and execution of comprehensive reward, compensation, and benefits strategies to attract, motivate, and retain top-tier talent. Lead the design and implementation of competitive and equitable compensation structures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry benchmarks. Drive the development and enhancement of employee benefits programme and collaborate across functions to ensure compliance with regulations and to create a total rewards framework that supports organizational success, employee engagement, and retention.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Benchmarking Current Compensation and Benefits Against the Macro Environment. To ensure that the organization’s current remuneration and reward schemes are fair, equitable, and attractive. The policies should be benchmarked against competitors, the local environment, and global trends to ensure that the organization can recruit and retain top-performers.
  • Work closely with top management across the organization to understand projected future needs. To develops a clear and concise strategy for the organization. The strategy should take into account the diversity of jobs in the organization, as well as the organization’s growth expectations in the medium and long term.
  • Develop a Remuneration / Reward Strategy and to improve the remuneration strategy demands a clear understanding of every department’s targets, plans, and staffing requirements.
  • Implement and Oversee Remuneration Plans and ensure the plans are translated into reality and that the remuneration process is monitored and tracked. Work with the compensation and payroll team to develop policies and procedures to implement the remuneration plans.
  • Act as an advisor to Senior Managers on Compensation Issues, to resolve any remuneration-related issues that occur. These issues will typically be related to bonuses and benefits.
  • Oversee Role or Job Changes Within Teams. For all promotions, job scope changes, and transfers should be reflected quickly and accurately by the Compensation and Benefits team.
  • Manage the Annual Salary Review Process. The review process is a bottom-to-top exercise to determine remuneration increases for all employees in the organization. to ensure that all relevant documentation is collated and input into the HRIS and payroll system.
  • Lead and Manage a Team of Practitioners. The role includes to train, coach, and mentor all team members and ensures that they are performing consistently. The management function requires expert knowledge of situational leadership, performance coaching, and career-pathing techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & KNOWLEDGE

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration Accounting, Finance or similar field of study with minimum 10 years work experience in Rewards and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experienced in management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records
