Job Overview

The Digital Executive is an ‘entry to mid-level’ position for any enthusiastic and proactive individuals who are interested in diversifying their technical and project management skills by providing support in all areas of digital development.

Job Description

• To monitor and analyse analytics findings and turn it into insights for the benefits of the YTL Group's project
• Develop back-end mechanisms for digital products/websites
• Assist the Digital Team in developing front end web pages and plugins
• Assist in different online marketing efforts that may be required from the YTL Group
• Slicing - Converting designs into static web pages, which eventually will be converted to CMS themes (WordPress)
• Design web interfaces, front end interfaces and system components with compliance for both desktop and mobile views
• Maintain and support the existing systems & frameworks in different projects within the YTL Group and its subsidiaries
• To ensure that each project development remains compliant with our brand guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent;
• Preferably at least 1-2 years of hands-on working experience, although fresh graduates would also be considered for the role
• At least 1-2 years of programming experience in WordPress or similar web development framework;
• Have completed at least 2 software implementation lifecycles from conception to live;
• Must have strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS, PHP, Bootstrap, JQuery or similar web service technologies
• Additional knowledge in MVCs and Frameworks is a plus.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills in English & Malay;
• Able to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience, along with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude;
• Good time-management skills and able to keep track and deliver on time the work assigned
• Strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment
