Responsibilities:
Margin Reports & Pricing: Develop customer/product-level margin reports to determine ideal pricing and improve profitability. Conduct regular cost vs. profit margin analysis to assess price effectiveness.
Collaborative Pricing: Work with Sales, Finance, and Procurement teams to establish competitive and profitable product pricing.
Cost Tracking: Consistently track cost of goods and monitor price fluctuations.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze pricing data from industry standards, sales trends, and competitors, and present insights to decision-makers.
Sales Opportunities: Identify seasonal sales opportunities and appropriate clearance prices to optimize inventory management.
Forecasting: Prepare monthly forecast P&L and cash flow projections to depict working capital needs, and develop near- and long-term pricing/profitability forecasts while reviewing actual performance.
Revenue Management: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting and closing processes. Develop internal controls to support revenue management activities.
E-commerce & Cost Control: Implement and manage e-commerce strategies to increase revenue. Leverage technology like inventory management and POS systems to improve accuracy and efficiency in cost control.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in cost control and implement proactive solutions. Calculate and recommend pricing for SKUs based on ingredients, labor, and overhead costs.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience from the grocery/fresh produce industry
Strong experience managing revenue and pricing models
Experience with collaboration with managing P&L will be an added advantage
A minimum of 8 years of experience is required for the role
Qualification in actuarial science would be an added advantage
