As a key member of the SEA HR team, you will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies, particularly focused on operational roles to support KKday’s rapid expansion in Malaysia and the region. This role offers a dynamic mix of HR recruitment and operations duties, ensuring that both hiring goals and smooth office operations are met.

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Develop and implement hiring strategies with a focus on operations, logistics, and other key support roles
  • Source both active and passive candidates to build a strong talent pipeline for operational and other critical positions
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Employer Branding

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to position KKday as the preferred employer, especially for operations talent, within Malaysia and SEA markets
  • Engage with potential candidates on professional networks, alumni networks, and social media to attract top talent

HR Operations

  • Manage all employee life cycle activities for new hires, focusing on operational roles, ensuring a smooth transition from onboarding to offboarding
  • Oversee the new joiner orientation program and facilitate training specific to operational roles
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare programs for operational teams
  • Provide support on HR operational tasks, including record-keeping and ensuring compliance with local labor laws

Office Operations

  • Perform administrative and operational tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support the business and ensure smooth office functions
  • Assist in submitting and reconciling expense reports such as petty cash, employee reimbursements, and other company-related expenses
  • Provide logistical support and coordination as required by the business team for events or operations-related projects
  • Handle additional ad hoc projects to support the business team

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field
  • 3 years of recruitment or HR operations experience, preferably with a focus on operations or logistics roles
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Immediate availability is preferred
