Job Description

  • Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the company's vehicle lineup, focusing on market needs, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
    • Identify new product opportunities and improvements to existing models, ensuring a balanced and competitive product portfolio.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align product strategies with overall business objectives and long-term vision.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
    • Analyze market data, consumer feedback, and industry reports to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Use insights to inform product planning decisions and ensure the company's offerings are aligned with market expectations.
  • Go-To Market Strategy:
    • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of product plans.
    • Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of product designs.
    • Work with marketing and sales in developing go-to-market strategies, including pricing, promotion, and distribution plans.
The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in product planning, sales management, or a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful product strategies and managing product lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to senior management and stakeholders.
