The UI/UX Manager is responsible for managing user interface and user experience related activities within the organization. The main goal is to improve the customer satisfaction that ultimately helps to increase the growth of the business.

The UI/UX Manager will lead a team of designers to create world-class user experiences across all CTOS’ product suite as determined by General Manager, Product.

The UI/UX Manager is expected to take the ownership of the product design and be an active facilitator to communicate the thinking with other designers, product managers, engineers, customer support and salespeople.

What you are expected to do:

  • Lead a team of UI/UX designers to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for a variety of websites, web applications and mobile app
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, aspirations and behaviors. Deliver contextual insights that help to frame our strategic opportunities and priorities
  • Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, usability research, and customer feedback
  • Design the user interface and interaction flow of services and experiences
  • Develop customer workflows, journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Addressing product, brand, marketing, content and overall user experience
  • Carry out the responsibilities of a Lead UX Engineer with hands-on front-end prototyping and design
  • Participate in product development planning and review sessions where applicable
  • Mentor, train and coach junior designers to become a high performer in the team.

What qualifies you for the role :

  • Possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, of Professional Degree in Business / Design / Psychology / Computer Science / HCI / Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication) or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in interaction design, information architecture, or visual design (preferably agency or consultancy)
  • Proven track record of hands-on user-interface design leadership; demonstrated understanding of user centered design principles
  • Comfortable leading a UX effort independently or working as part of a team.
  • Experience designing and building large scale interactions designs that meet business goals
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork between product management and IT
