• Role and responsibilities
o To ensure all systems in scope are in operation and meets the expected uptime.
o To provide problem support and escalation, communication with relevant parties to provide solution or workaround process for business continuity.
o To upkeep all systems up-to-date with the necessary patches to ensure system is free from any vulnerabilities and problem fixing.
o To upkeep all systems and its related components in meeting the agreed Service Levels. Performing Systems Support (e.g. systems performance, systems tuning etc) and preventive measures.
o For systems that has dependencies on third party, to have agreement for provision of services to enable support of systems.
o To manage a team of IT Support Specialist towards the abovementioned expectations.
• Strong Technical Knowledge
o A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
o At minimum 10 years working experience in IT Support with at least 3 years in leadership role.
o Proven experience in managing critical regional systems.
o Strong technical knowledge
o Linux and Windows server environments
o Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and shell
o Networking, firewall, and hardware BOM (added advantage)
o Containerization and orchestration platform (namely Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker) and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
o SQL scripting for RDBMS databases. MSSQL and Oracle is a MUST.Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance, outages, availability, and security issues.
o Critical & Analytical thinking skills
o Excellent relationship management experience.
