We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a leading pioneer in the specialty oils and fats industry. With over 40 years of experience, our fully integrated facility is dedicated to manufacturing oils and fats for various industries.

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with key stakeholders such as the President Downstream, Executive Director, Finance, Sales Team, and Sourcing. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to establishing and streamlining departmental policies, conducting Trading P&L analysis, managing Raw material and Forex Cover, and enhancing sales forecasting and communication practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track and analyze key metrics such as pipeline growth, country sales, margin performance, and trader-wise sales performance.

- Compile performance-related information for management review and reporting.

- Analyze sales and spread variances between actual vs. budget.

- Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify and develop new markets.

- Support the finance team in analyzing trading profit and loss reports.

- Prepare financial key metrics analysis and cash flow projections.

- Develop strategies, analyze business proposals, and refine hypotheses for strategic initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

- CPA or ACCA qualification

- Minimum of 8 years of progressive business & finance experience

- 5 years of financial, operational, and administrative support experience

- Strong communication skills and ability to distill complex information

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Tableau, Power BI, and Business Objects experience is a plus
