Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment in the Plant.
- Keep proper record of repair and maintenance of all equipment for future reference and inspection.
- To ensure the machinery is running according to the Factory and Machinery Act and OSHA requirements.
- Assist the Workshop Superintendent and Production team in any breakdown, modification, installation and inspection by the Factory and Machinery Department.
- Standby for mechanical breakdown if required after working hours and reduce downtime at minimum hours.
- To carry out Plant preventive measures as to ensure all mechanical equipment is fully maintained.
- To ensure all preventive maintenance activity are to be delivered and all related documents to be updated.
- In the absence of superintendent, foreman will be in charge of evaluating and assigning work requests to fitters and technicians and further follow up on the said request.
- To ensure all the workshop’s equipment is always in good housekeeping.
- Responsible for training of new fitters / technicians.
- To adhere and implement QHSE and Food Safety Management System and Responsible Care Program and maintain safe working conditions and report any accident and near misses.
- To adhere and implement Energy Management System requirement.
- To cooperate and comply with additional tasks / instruction by superior regarding plant maintenance.
- Minimum Qualification – Mechanical Cert. / Diploma in Mechanical.
- Minimum five (5) years working experience in related industry.
