  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer for Industrial Automation products to support Malaysia partners and customers.

The position is based in Malaysia but requires frequent business trips to visit customers and support them with IABG products within Malaysia.

For this role, you will work together with SM in region and connected with SEA FAE team to attend to customer’s technical enquiry and product support.

The main responsibilities are:

  • To support our Sales team, Key account customers and channels partners
  • Providing introduction and training to channel partners for IA products/solutions
  • Supporting channel partners with application of all IA products/solutions
  • Reporting periodically to Field Application Team on the status of the assigned activities and potential issues.
  • Conducting benchmarking analysis for IA products/solutions whenever required
  • Reporting technology and feature trends related to IA products/solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Automation engineer with Electrical experience
  • Experience in Motion, PLC, Robotics, VFD and SCADA is a plus.

  • Soft skills in customer focus mentality by having listening and communication skills
  • Analytical and logical problem solving skills and not bounded by what deemed as usual.
  • Ability to translate a customer requirement or application into a full automation architecture by integrating available products and sometimes with 3rd party component as a full solution to customer.
