As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

As the entity Buyer, your main responsibilities will be to perform the procurement processes as per the company's policies, as well as support operations activities. Your missions will evolve over time, and are not limited to the following:

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As the entity Buyer, your main responsibilities will be to perform the procurement processes as per the company's policies, as well as support operations activities. Your missions will evolve over time, and are not limited to the following:
- Ensures Purchase Request reception and verification and Purchase Order
- Performs the Purchase Order creation
- Execute day-to-day spot buying, including negotiation and supplier selection, with a focus on efficiencies
- Manage suppliers, including the reporting of non-conformities and the qualification of suppliers
- Communication and negotiation with suppliers.
- Manage the inventory level with performing monthly stock check, control of inventory level and new item code creation in the system.
- Support administrative processes of the Maritime Industrial Procurement Manager.
- Contribute to the deployment of the Industrial Management System on Control of Goods and Services (IMS GP10) in collaboration with the Procurement Business Partner
- Propose continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to their implementation.
- Creation of jobs in the ERP system and providing update reports including job order, spare parts usage, work done etc.
- Issuing quotations for our business, inspection reports, follow-up customer Purchase orders and billing for the maintenance activities.
- Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- You have at least one year of experience in procurement duties working with ERPs or background in Supply Chain / Procurement
- Computer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs (e.g Google Workspace, excel/ google sheet)
- Good command of English and Malay in reading, writing and speaking
- Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Strong planning & organising skills and result-driven
- Good communication skills, analytical
- Strong collaboration with onsite and remote colleagues
- Willing to evolve and participate to transformation projects
- Fresh graduate student are encouraged to apply
