JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and supervising daily activity.
  • To assist in the repair of civil equipment.
  • Control budget and detailed cost estimation as well as procurement.
  • Any other assignment as and when required.
  • Analyze maintenance cost and maintenance schemes for improvements in cost reduction, manpower and increased efficiency.
  • Coordinate, lead, program manage upgrading/retrofit/tuning activities for full job delivery.
  • Ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, project program, procedures, design brief, etc.
  • Carry out diagnostic and analysis activities including audits.
  • Attend meetings, reporting etc for internal and external clients.
  • To attend to complaints on operational matters by tenants tactfully and professionally and take the appropriate rectification actions according to the procedures herein.
  • Ensure all policies, activities procedures and instructions are implemented as relevant and required by the quality management system.
  • To work with the related personnel to oversee the project progress to control the project cost, schedule and job quality.
  • Analyse and develop technical reports, incident reports, and proposals, as well as identify and recommend continuous improvement actions.
  • Liaise with clients and develop a positive relationship.
  • Responsible for the assessment and management of small projects specific to the Operations Department as agreed with the relevant project team.
  • Act as a Company’s representative to strengthen the relationship between the Client and the Company.
  • Monitor and analyse energy performance and utilities trending.
  • Support and be involved in the Green Building Index (GBI) program.
  • Ensure and monitor the safety program running to achieve zero accidents at the site.


Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Property and Facilities Management.
  • Strong knowledge of building services relevant to high-rise residential, commercial, and/or mixed-use developments.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with the ability to prepare reports, presentation slides, and business improvement plans/processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Technical background in relevant fields.
  • Computer literate with intermediate skills in relevant software.
