Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop/design the program topics based on the briefings from Sales and Research or training Teams, draft up the topics and identify the appropriate practitioners of the industry to do a presentation, in the formulation of product marketing and promotional programmes, and the agenda;
- Track the attendance response for the briefings and work with the marketing and forums staff (if required) to ensure we achieve the objectives and deliverables;
- Run the events onsite, and all the pre and post logistics arrangements and cost control;
- Assist in managing the overall project management from planning strategising and execution of all programmes including the co-ordination of events such as conferences, seminars, roundtables, training, sourcing for speakers/moderators, managing speakers and content of the speech & etc.;
- Provide guidance to new staff members when required.
Core Skills:
- Ability to provide information, write and edit marketing materials for the events’ EDMs, brochures and handbook;
- Ability to co-ordinate and assist telesales team in delegate marketing and invitation;
- Ability to contribute to the profitability of conference, forums, webinar and/or training business;
- Ability to demonstrate to oversee event production and management skills (research, copy-writing, speaker/trainer’s acquisition, sales/marketing briefing and support, on-site management and time management) that could contribute to the development of the business as a whole.
KPIs:
- Sponsors’ satisfaction in achieving their marketing ROI, clients’ satisfaction and valuable feedback
- Speakers/moderators delivered numbers;
- Delegates’ satisfaction in finding the briefings useful and beneficial, and achieve the target numbers;
- Well-planned logistics/administrative support/event profitability;
- General execution skills/& customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Possessing a good Bachelor’s degree is required;
- 5-8 years of experience in content development for a research or conference-based organization;
- Candidates with prior journalism experience and a flair for financial services are encouraged to apply as the job will be 80% research based and 20% forums;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with senior executives from the industry;
- Superior research and analytical skills with a creative slant;
- Ability to multi-task manage the forums team;
- Ability to support sales by building networks and relationships with speakers, the media, associates, partners, third parties, other intermediaries and potential clients of the Company.
