Project Manager – Operations and Maintenance

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 40 MW hydropower plant in Tenom, Sabah, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety. • Ensure the plant operates within compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards. • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic control equipment • Execute annual preventive civil maintenance works for the power plant • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency • Lead a team of O&M technicians and engineers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed • Prepare and manage budgets for O&M activities, ensuring cost-effective operations • Maintain complete documentation of the power plant, including generation-related records, store inventory, maintenance schedules, and statutory records • Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute the commissioning of the future 162 MW run-of-river plant in Sipitang • Stay updated to the industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in Hydropower generation
