Personal Trainer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one sessions to clients of all fitness levels. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivational, and dedicated to client success. Trainers must be knowledgeable in fitness techniques, nutrition, and lifestyle management, and capable of creating tailored fitness plans for each client.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitness assessments for new clients to determine their fitness level, goals, and preferences.
• Develop personalized workout plans based on each client’s needs and goals.
• Lead individual sessions with a focus on safety, motivation, and effectiveness.
• Monitor clients’ progress and provide ongoing support, feedback, and encouragement.
• Ensure all exercises are performed with proper form and technique.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment in the training area.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and training methods.
• Work closely with the management team to promote services and help retain clients.
• Maintain active communication with clients between sessions to keep them motivated.

Qualifications:

• Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from an accredited organisation (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent).
• CPR/AED certification.
• Previous personal training experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with a wide variety of clients.
• Passionate about fitness, health, and helping others achieve their goals.
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and educate clients in a positive and energetic manner.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional and punctual with strong organisational skills.
