Role Purpose:

Lead and manage a team of fullstack & backend engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. Achieve this by providing technical leadership, overseeing the development process, ensuring best practices, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to ensure the team's success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example for fullstack or backend software development execution and managing stages from ideation and development to launch and ongoing maintenance, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products that meet customer needs, and incorporating feedback loops for iterative improvements.
• Identify and assist on the stability, scalability, cost optimization, and security of the technology infrastructure by continuously assessing, upgrading, and implementing best practices, using specific frameworks or standards to support business growth and protect sensitive data.
• Manage high-performing engineering teams by recruiting top talent, providing mentorship, and fostering professional growth, with a focus on long-term team development to create a collaborative and innovative work culture.
• Organize collaboration within product and technology teams by creating efficient cross-functional communication to enhance collaboration and achieve shared goals.
• Assist on identifying risk in technology by conducting proactive risk assessments and develop contingency plan to ensure regulatory and security compliance for technology deliverable
• Execute strategic vision for technology innovation by executing the technology roadmap of initiatives with company goals to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
  
  

You're A Great Fit If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong focus on fullstack or backend development.
• Working experience in managing large distributed teams and executing strategic initiatives.
• Working experience in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Go, Java, Node.js, NestJS, ExpressJS, React, Angular).
• Strong bias for action with proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in overseeing software product lifecycle and technology infrastructure.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and driving agile transformation within product or technology teams.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing, supporting and growing a team of backend or fullstack engineers.
• Proven team management and interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively achieving results and driving projects to completion.
