Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Design & Build Manager at ZUS Coffee. Responsible for overseeing the design and construction of coffee outlets, ensuring that they reflect the brand's image and standards. Day-to-day tasks include managing projects, working with contractors and suppliers, with powerful modern tool, and ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of build projects. With the career advancement of supporting SEA outlet expansion.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing fast-paced design and construction projects
  • Knowledge of architectural design and interior design principles
  • Ability to work with contractors, designers, and other stakeholders
  • Project management skills
  • Proven experience in leading projects with the right business and technical background Self-motivated, disciplined and proactive with the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field

Plus if:

  • Experience in the food and beverage industry .
  • Experience with advanced Project Management tool (eg: Lark, Notion)

Primary Role

  • Oversea and Lead team including designer, fit-out, quantity surveyors, outlet opening team, special projects.
  • Monitor project deliverables within time, cost and quality.
  • Coach and support project team members with relevant tasks
  • Oversee all aspects of the project by developing a detailed project plan with modern PM tool; monitor, control and track progress; change control; identify and mitigate risks or issues that may impact successful delivery of the project.
  • Be involved in the quality review of drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving issues with the project lead as needed.
  • Actively engaged with Designers both internal and external to elevate ZUS outlet look & feel, within budget considerations
  • Evaluate costs from main contractor, subcontractors and, where appropriate, negotiate with the subcontractors.
