  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Our mission is to drive sustainable practices that align with our core values. The organization is located in Greater Kuala Lumpur and advocates for sustainability across various industries.

Role Description

This is a VOLUNTEER hybrid role for Treasurer at UniCS. The Treasurer will be responsible for, and not limited to managing the organization's finances, overseeing budgeting and financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is based in Greater Kuala Lumpur with flexibility for remote work.

Requirements

  • Strong advocacy towards environmentalism and combating against climate change
  • Referral to previous treasury roles
  • Open to candidates that are currently studying, working, or unemployed

Qualifications

  • Financial Management, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
  • Experience with accounting software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in sustainability or ESG initiatives is a plus
