JR45147 Security Program Coordinator

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Lead physical security design and construction for new buildings, building expansions and special projects.
  • Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close-out documentation.
  • Handle vendor on-boarding, RFP, RFQ, bid, contracting, contract execution, QA/QC, and support processes.
  • Effectively and accurately handle and support budgets for security projects. Own and track the finance and budgeting process for security programs and projects.
  • Representative for physical security operations team acceptance, sign-off, and operational readiness validation in conjunction with other Micron collaborators.
  • Reporting performance metrics such as physical security system installation vendor service delivery performance, actual spend vs. budget variance, cost reduction goal attainment, post installation defect rates, physical security program analysis, etc.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive global, regional, and local security initiatives.

Security Project Management

  • The primary point of contact for all security projects in Malaysia.
  • Explaining technical solutions, practices, and procedures to key stakeholders.
  • Understand the concepts and principles of what is needed to be done to support Security related projects.
  • Provide some informative information for other team members o n processes and steps to be followed.

Security Portfolio Management

  • Methodology of connecting security tools and integrating disparate security systems and streamline security processes.
  • Connect tools and teams while also automating manual processes to speed, scale and strengthen security response posture.

Communication and professional contacts

  • Assist the Country Security manager and the site security operations teams related crisis management; in fire and/or building related emergencies and procedures
  • Provide input to the site security lead and country lead on the work plan and activities related to planning, reporting and projects, audits, and governance related works.
  • Manage site security portfolio when the Country lead is away from the site.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Project management (preferred) or Security related filed.
  • 3 years on corporate working experience
  • Knowledge in any Security systems, such as Lennel or access management systems.
  • Must be IT Savy, Microsoft applications, mobile and other business-related services platforms.
  • Creative and have passion in implementing innovative physical security solutions to tackle exciting business problems.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willing to work in a complementary team and challenging environment to achieve a common goal through effective collaboration and commitment.
  • Required to provide operation support and rotational based on call support.
  • Required to work in various areas throughout the building/site.
  • Proven good project management skill and had exposure to security related activities such as ISO/ISMS audits and risk assessments.
  • Experience with engaging government related agencies and external partners
  • Physically fit and punctual
