Our client is a leading player in the plastic recycling industry, committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead HR initiatives and support the company’s growth objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies aligned with our client’s business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company’s strategic objectives and foster a positive work culture.
- Manage HR budget and resources effectively – able to lead and guide HODs in budgeting and workforce planning.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce to drive company growth.
- Implement and oversee employee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and career development.
- Manage and enhance compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
- Lead and implement HR initiatives related to organisational development, employee engagement and talent retention.
- Collaborate with senior management to assess current and future HR needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism and continuous learning.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record of designing and implementing HR policies and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving performance and achieving objectives.
- Experience in manufacturing or other related industry will be an added advantage.
