Job Description:-
Murex Architecture & Design:
Lead and architect Murex solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
Oversee the design and implementation of Murex sub-domains such as:
Front Office: Trade capture, pricing, and risk management.
Middle Office: P&L, limits management, and workflow processes.
Back Office: Settlement, payments, accounting, and reconciliation.
Risk Management: Market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk functionalities.
Regulatory Reporting: Compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and reporting mandates.
Collateral Management: Margining, collateral optimization, and dispute management.
Ensure architectural best practices are followed, with a focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.
Leadership & Project Management:
- Provide strategic leadership to Murex development teams, guiding technical decisions and ensuring delivery excellence.
- Manage the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, and testing, to implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, testing, and business units to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as a point of contact between the Murex delivery team and senior management.
- Report regularly on project status, timelines, risks, and challenges to executive leadership.
- Ensure transparency in communication and keep stakeholders informed of key decisions and progress.
Team Management & Recruitment:
- Lead recruitment efforts for expanding the Murex team by identifying, interviewing, and onboarding top talent.
- Develop and mentor junior team members, ensuring they gain the skills necessary for successful project delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
End-to-End Delivery Coordination:
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of end-to-end Murex solutions, from initial concept to production deployment.
- Coordinate across various teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and operations to guarantee seamless delivery of Murex functionalities.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Challenges Management:
- Address and resolve any technical and operational challenges that arise during the project.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in Murex and financial technology to address challenges proactively.
- Provide thought leadership and solutions to improve project efficiency, quality, and delivery speed.
