  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur@ Ssquad Global

Work Location - Malaysia

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, with extensive experience in managing complex network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Implement network security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats, including the management of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support the deployment and maintenance of network solutions.
  • Lead network-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
  • Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices to ensure the company’s network infrastructure remains cutting-edge

Qualifications

  • [Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and others.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and others.
  • Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or similar are highly desirable.
