We Are Looking For

As the Data Center Process Engineer / Manager, you are entrusted with ensuring the efficient, secure, and compliant operation of our data center facilities. This multifaceted role integrates principles from various ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001), PCI-DSS, SOC 1/2, and ITIL to uphold the highest standards of quality, environmental management, service management, information security, occupational health and safety, energy management, and IT service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Process Optimization:
  • Analyze data center processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization in efficiency, reliability, and compliance.
  • Implement best practices from ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 20000 (Service Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 50001 (Energy Management), PCI-DSS, SOC 1/2, and ITIL to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize performance metrics, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence and achieve organizational objectives.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of data center technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards (ISO 45001) and provide a safe working environment for data center personnel.
  • Champion training and development initiatives to enhance team skills and competencies in alignment with ITIL practices and industry standards.
  1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Establish and maintain robust quality management systems based on ISO 9001 standards to ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement controls and practices aligned with ISO 14001 standards to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable data center operations.
  • Adhere to ISO 27001 standards for information security management, PCI-DSS requirements for payment card security, SOC 1/2 criteria for service organization controls, and ISO 20000 for IT service management to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to data center operations, information assets, and personnel safety using methodologies prescribed by ISO 27001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
  • Implement controls and practices outlined in PCI-DSS and SOC 1/2 frameworks to manage risks related to payment card data security, service organization controls, and information security.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management plans, business continuity plans, and disaster recovery strategies in accordance with ISO standards and ITIL guidelines.
  1. Energy Management:
  • Implement energy management systems aligned with ISO 50001 standards to optimize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and minimize environmental impact.
  • Identify opportunities for energy conservation, renewable energy utilization, and green data center initiatives to support sustainability goals and regulatory compliance.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, SLAs, and industry standards.
  • Evaluate vendor security practices, performance, and compliance with ISO, PCI-DSS, SOC, and ITIL requirements to mitigate third-party risks effectively.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with vendors to drive innovation, cost optimization, and service excellence in data center operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in data center operations management, including leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on quality management, information security, regulatory compliance, and IT service management.
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISO 20000 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 45001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 50001 Lead Implementer, PCI-DSS Implementer/Auditor, SOC 1/2 compliance credentials, and ITIL Expert certification are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, PCI-DSS requirements, SOC criteria, and ITIL framework, along with practical experience in their implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to effectively address complex challenges and drive operational excellence in data center management.
