Position Summary

Reporting to the Group Head of HR, you will be responsible for the HR function in the Malaysia office and provide end-to-end operational and strategic support across the full spectrum of HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management and Talent Management.

You will actively engage internal and external stakeholders to implement HR programs to achieve business objectives

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business/ Management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Attract and hire relevant and best in class candidates, which includes being actively involved in the candidate selection and offer process
  • Partner and engage Universities to put in place programs to attract talents and build the necessary talent pipelines to meet business needs
  • Use employee metrics, market trends to determine the efficacy of people processes and apply insights to build and improve the effectiveness of HR solutions to meet dynamic business needs
  • Develop and build organisational capabilities to meet current and future business needs
  • Partner business leaders/managers to proactively drive a high performance culture within their respective teams and ensure alignment of on-the-ground performance management practices with the Group’s HR framework
  • Understand employee engagement issues and partner business leaders to implement effective solutions to address these issues
  • Provide inputs on workforce planning and manpower budgeting; track and ensure plans are executed accordingly within budget.
  • Enforce procedural fairness in employee relations matters. Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant regulatory requirements provide guidance across all levels and anticipate / mitigate potential risks when necessary
  • Work closely with the Compensation & Benefits team to conduct the annual talent and compensation review

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or other related disciplines with progressive HR experience in medium to large organizations
  • At least 7+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years of experience in both talent acquisition and HR Business Partner experience
  • Good understanding and practical application of local employment laws and HR practices, and in touch with emerging HR trends
  • Must be self-starter, hands on and passionate to operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to relate well with people at all levels
  • Possess strong creative thinking skills to build and deliver on innovative HR solutions
  • Familiarity with the payments or financial industry with end-to-end HR service delivery experience will be advantageous
