Job Description

This position reports directly to the Head of Revenue Optimization, Consumer Lines. Responsible for driving existing business and assist in strategic business planning with key focus on existing and new sales channels to the company.

  • To meet agreed performance and financial target
  • To develop and explore new distribution channels such as partner’s branches, banks, digital, tele-marketing etc.
  • To develop and nurture sponsor/bank partners for Consumer Business

Major duties and responsibilities

Account Management

Develop and nurture existing partners/bank partners/digital partners.

Assist in the development of strategic executable plans and management framework.

Optimize, develop and explore new direct distribution channel such as branch networks, retail outlets, digital, tele-marketing etc within existing partners.

Faciliate regular partner meetings to track roadmap against timelines and dependencies and review portfolio, product performance, working to ensure deadlines are met from both parties

Operation

Develop creative to have concepts and contents approved by partners and all internal parties, i.e. Underwriter, Claims, Customer services, Operation, , Legal, Tele-marketing and other Line of Businesses

Establish project timeline for end-to-end process

Ensure approved marketing fund spend within budget and achieve agreed profitability target

Liaising with Underwriting, Customer Service/Operation, Telemarketing, MIS and Sponsor for other initiatives on periodic basis i.e. daily billing, database management, script management, disputes/complaints, product positioning and campaign management.

Ensure operational processes are streamlined, reducing admin workloads within the team.

Others

Research and reporting on key consumer distribution segments

Communicate on market trends and competition

Assist in Product Development.

Manage & Track Performance of given Projects within consumer lines

Any other duties as assigned by Management

Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

Good analytical skill, Result oriented, Creative and able to multi tasks effectively

Strong sales, new business development and existing relationship development experience

Possess excellent business acumen and resourceful

Have good interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and be part if the team player

Insurance and financial product knowledge preferred

Appreciate and understand Compliance and Controls

Good computer skills and familiarity in Microsoft Offices are required

Experience

Tertiary education with minimum 5 years working experience

Insurance industry and/or direct marketing, or retail industry background will be an added advantageQualifications
