POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to create and produce design solutions, and technical support for data center projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop structural design solutions for Vertiv prefabricated data center projects, ensure compliance with local standards and project requirements.
- Provide technical support during preparation of bidding documents.
- Preparation of structural specifications and project planning/ implementation documents.
- Preparation of structural scope of work documents.
- Preparation of structural system specifications.
- Carrying out structural design verifications, compliance checks and modifications and development of detail design drawings according to relevant standards including but not limited to load calculations, lifting analysis, fabrication drawing reviews & etc.
- Ability to develop structural analysis models through SAP2000/STAAD PRO/ABAQUS or equivalent structural design software, create models in Tekla and produce fabrication layouts.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering with a strong focus on innovative structural design solutions
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience managing and executing structural engineering projects, ideally within high-tech or specialised sectors like data centers
- Proven track record in designing and delivering robust structural systems for data centers or other mission-critical facilities
- Knowledge in SAP2000, STAAD PRO, ABAQUS or equivalent
- Experience in TEKLA Structure for 3D modelling and fabrication detailing or equivalent
- Expertise in AUTOCAD for precise design documentation and visualisation
