Position Overview: Overall responsibility for the E&I works for the project.
Responsibilities
- Involved in new product concept design that meets customer requirements & expectations, design, process & safety guidelines
- Participates in the testing and evaluations of complex design to ensure compliance with the functional requirements
- Preparation and review of Electrical Inquiry Documents, and Commercial/Technical Bid Evaluation, MTO, cost estimation, and inter-discipline coordination
- Perform field work and technical research
- Perform technical studies and calculations
- To assist projects team for all electrical and instrumentation control idea and installation
- To provide technical support to client (internal & external) for any technical matters that arise
- Prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, method statements, calculation, reports, life cycle cost and equipment selection
- Establish and maintain internal documents (e.g. manuals, standards, drawing & forms) and keep all records relevant to facility
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical), Engineering (Electrical & Instrument Control) or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good communication skills, both spoken and written, in English.
- Working knowledge in AutoCAD to produce 1-ph, 3-ph electrical design drawings up to 11kV.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
