Electrical Technician / Electrician

- Knowledge and maintenance in PLC control. - To perform maintenance on all electrical equipment, machineries, motors and panel switch box when necessary. - To execute maintenance works including troubleshooting, repairing, preventive maintenance, test run and servicing of plant machineries, equipment's and facilities. - To make a routine check on machines and equipment to ensure machines and equipment are working in good condition. - To troubleshoot and recommend a solution to electrical or electronics problems and if necessary, repair the fault. - Responsible for the building facilities maintenance system such as fire fighting system, sprinkler, pumps and etc. - Effectively carrying out the Preventive Maintenance Program (TPM) in collaboration with Production & Engineering executive - Continuously seek to minimize machine down time and perform troubleshooting to properly identify causes of machine downtime. - Continuously seek to improve machine reliability and improve spare part life in order to minimize maintenance cost. - Plan and carry out improvements projects, to liaise with executive, plant engineer and manager on projects for continued improvement all round. - Initiate preventive maintenance to prevent or minimize equipment breakdown and failure. - Ensure safety first when carrying out maintenance works. - Complete daily works/assignments and service as required by the management in a timely manner. - Carry out any ad-hoc maintenance, repair works or any additional duties assigned by superior.
