The submittal of well-written questionnaires is often a critical step in the institutional sales and client reporting processes. To that end, the dedicated Questionnaires Team within Client Reporting Services is responsible for the development of high-quality RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs (Requests for Information), DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires), 15c’s, and other ad hoc questionnaires/deliverables that 1) assist in the procurement of new business; 2) meet the complex reporting requirements of current clients; and 3) accurately, clearly, and articulately describe the firm and its investment solutions.

The Client Services Writer is responsible for helping to maintain and oversee firm and product information in the questionnaires database, as well as answering content-related questions from internal subject matter experts and the Questionnaires Content Manager. The Client Services Writer will work in a team setting, but will be assigned specialized tasks and/or ownership of specific processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:


  • Working with the Questionnaires Content Manager in Client Reporting Services, Americas on a quarterly basis to maintain accurate and timely Client and product information on our third-party questionnaires database (Qvidian)

  • Oversight and production of quarterly Subject Matter Expert (SME) review process: identify Qvidian records in scope for review; coordinate with assigned SMEs; monitor and manage completion of SME review to multiple deadlines; communicate SME review status to Questionnaires managers; troubleshoot and escalate issues

  • Ownership of questionnaire preparation process under constant deadline pressure: select and apply correct format and disclosure template to questionnaire upon request; confirm proper format of questionnaire content; post updated questionnaire to SharePoint site; communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner; troubleshoot and escalate issues

  • Completion of quarterly Qvidian “merge code” data updates and review using various internal resources

  • Communication of changes to “linked” records in Qvidian as they occur

  • Maintaining and developing procedures, processes, and quality improvements needed for the completion of the role’s responsibilities


  • The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


  • Detail-oriented and willing to ask clarifying and thoughtful questions to ensure that projects are completed properly, thoroughly, and on schedule

  • Strong proficiency in both English and Japanese

  • Comfortable reaching out to and working with various constituents of an organization

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changes, and take initiative to suggest solutions to problems and juggle the unexpected under the pressure of deadlines

  • The individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high quality work against strict and competing deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Qvidian will be viewed favorably

  • A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential
