Job Summary:

In this role, you will be a key member of our small but growing strategic team at MR DIY International Holding. Your primary responsibilities will include direct involvement in our Singapore business, leading the international expansion of our consumer plastics venture, overseeing our international business operations, and managing various ad-hoc special projects. MR DIY International is a data-driven team where analytics and data science are embedded into our processes to drive actionable decisions that foster innovation and optimize revenue. We empower stakeholders across the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions, ensuring we stay ahead in the fast-evolving retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic projects and initiatives, working directly with senior leadership to identify and address critical business challenges

• Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in the SEA/Singapore retail and consumer plastic products sector

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve operational efficiency and drive growth across our retail network

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable plans and technical specifications

• Create compelling business cases and presentations to support strategic decisions and secure buy-in from senior management

• Act as a liaison with operational team in Singapore, ensuring alignment of strategic objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field;

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, or related roles in the retail sector

• Specialisation or experience in financial modelling, in areas of Statistics, Data Science or Econometrics in a corporate operational roles is a plus

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide clear, actionable insights

• Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Mandarin and Bahasa is a plus
