JOB PURPOSE

This position will lead the Commercial Excellence Functions of ZP Therapeutics covering Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Under this role will be Sales Force Effectiveness, Training Excellence, Digital Strategy, and Business Intelligence. The Head of Commercial Excellence will be part of the country Leadership team and is tasked to lead the development and implementation of best practices, processes and tools to enhance sales force effectiveness, customer engagement and overall commercial performance. The role will collaborate closely with the Regional Commercial Excellence Team for exchange and execution of regional initiatives pertaining to sales and marketing effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead initiatives to improve sales force productivity, includes training, coaching and performance management
  • Design and optimize sales processes, methodologies and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Establish and manage commercial performance metrics and dashboards to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with country leadership to define commercial goals & KPIs; conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable insights to commercial team
  • Lead omnichannel transformation & digital strategy of the organization
  • Review and improve Sales Force Incentive & Recognition Program to align with Regional guidance
  • Drive Commercial Capability Upskilling Program through training & capability development (Sales ACE Selling, CHC Selling Model, Key Account Management)
  • Support new business exploration with sizing analysis to identify resource needed and sales structure building

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCY

  • More than 9 years of commercial excellence experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare industry, involving sales, marketing, leadership, project management, and process excellence.
