Job Overview:

The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote a company and its products or services. This role enhances brand awareness within the digital space, drives website traffic, and acquires leads/customers. The Digital Marketing Executive uses various digital marketing techniques, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management:

Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.

Design, build, and maintain the company’s social media presence.

Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

SEO and SEM:

Optimize content and landing pages for search engine marketing.

Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.

Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.

Content Marketing:

Develop and manage content marketing strategies.

Create high-quality content for the website, blog, social media, and other digital channels.

Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

Social Media Management:

Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about the company, competitors, and industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.

Email Marketing:

Plan and execute email marketing campaigns.

Design, test, and improve email templates.

Analyze email marketing performance and make improvements based on insights.

Analytics and Reporting:

Use data and analytics to measure, analyze, and report on performance of digital marketing campaigns.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data.

Monitor and analyze website traffic and online behavior.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals.

Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.

Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Executive or similar role.

Experience with B2C and B2B social media, Google Adwords, email campaigns, and SEO/SEM.

Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).

Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.

Creative and innovative thinker.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Proficient in marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp, Hootsuite).

Familiarity with web design and HTML is a plus.
