Job Description:

Strategic Leadership

  • As the Head of the Portfolio Management Department (PMD) for Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC), you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless backoffice support for the Conventional Financial Institutions (CFD) and Islamic Financial Institutions/Development Financial Institutions Department (IDD).
  • Strategic leadership will contribute to drive business utilisation, revenue target achievement, tactical sales campaigns for banks and organizational alignment with asset management objectives.

Function & Operational Excellence

  • Organize and lead sales campaigns to drive business objectives and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
  • Provide constructive feedback and solutions for product improvement and innovation based on constant communication with coordinators at the various FIs and Non FIs.
  • Performing business review and analysis where necessary on various tranches’ PG/WG performance i.e. capping balance, total amount booked, simple analysis i.e. average loan range, NPL experience, PD rating and etc.
  • Reduce the portfolio ECL by way of constant engaging of partner banks for improvement of eligibility criteria, better communication with their collection departments and/ or proactive R&R.
  • Reporting on PG Performance reporting, Business Income, NPL Review reporting and all relevant reporting and analysis. PG/WG Performance Analysis for all portfolios.
  • Including financial institution query resolution, performance reviews including presentation slides, and ad hoc event.
  • Maintain good business rapport with FIs & Non FIs to ensure business growth.

Job Requirement:

  • Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business Administration / Public Relation or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge: Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal and negotiation skills, result oriented and independent.
  • Skill/Competencies: Must have basic credit background, can do attitude, resourceful and persistent.
  • Others: Excellent communication, writing & presentation skills, interpersonal & negotiation skills, team player, analytical thinking as well as result-oriented.
