Quality Engineer

Summary of the Job Responsibilities:

The Quality Engineer has several roles and responsibilities including proactive quality measure, mentoring production employees whilst provide support and leadership on all quality measures and are responsible for maintaining high quality levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and continue to develop, document and implement moulding quality assurance standards and review processes.
• Implement proactive and reactive quality measures and processes for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Investigate and remedy all production and quality issues within a timely manner.
• Manage quality-related customer relations to completion.
• Effectively communicate with other departments, team members, and between shifts.
• Train, mentor, and motivate quality & production staff to excel in their careers.
• Advocate and lead the execution of quality activities throughout the process development, verification, validation, design transfer, and release phases – ensuring compliance to regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other quality functions and report product risks through stage gates.
• Provide technical advice to other team members to resolve quality related issues or problems.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager/Superior.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Knowledge in ISO9001 and ISO14001 Quality Management System
• Experience coding and using QA software tools and processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Exposure to/knowledge of working in a multi-cultural office environment.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (subject to change at the Management’s discretion)
