About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced HR Manager to join our South East Asia team, reporting directly to the Regional Head. This role requires someone who can roll up their sleeves and provide strong HR business partnership while handling day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Planning & Budgeting: Manage HR planning, including workforce planning, and oversee HR budget management to ensure effective allocation of resources and alignment with business objectives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Develop and implement strategies for attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent. Manage the recruitment process, from job postings to interviews and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary contact for all employee concerns, fostering a supportive and positive work environment. Address and resolve workplace issues promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance review systems that identify employee strengths and areas for improvement, promoting professional development and high performance across the organisation.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage the compensation and benefits program, ensuring it is competitive, equitable, and aligns with the company's budget and strategic objectives.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, revise, and advise on HR policies and procedures to ensure they are current, compliant with laws, and support the company’s culture and goals.
  • Culture & Employee Activities: Design and implement employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives to foster a strong organizational culture. Lead efforts to promote work-life balance and enhance employee satisfaction through events and activities aligned with company values.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of HR experience, ideally within a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across South East Asia.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with all organisational levels.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Bilingual proficiency in reading and writing English and Mandarin is a must.
