If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Contract Associate, Business Development (HQ). In this role, you will process and execute the daily tasks assigned by Team Lead.

The Role:

  • Monitor new business growth through sales activities and promotion campaigns carried out by agents/ brokers/ Direct.
  • Conduct product training to agency force to recruit new agent.
  • Joint field work with the agent/ broker or any other business partner for HR meeting or roadshow.
  • Secure HR appointments for new Direct account / new scheme.
  • Build strong customer relationship especially for Direct account.
  • Sales presentation to corporate client.
  • Coach and manage agent/ new agent on the implementation planning / strategy planning.
  • Review session with the agent time to time to monitor the sales performance.
  • Actively engage with agent / broker or any business partner for business planning.
  • Organize marketing related activities to boost the sales eg; sales campaigns or contest / digital platform / seminar / sponsorship and etc.
  • To assist in reviewing / improvising existing processes and procedures when necessary.
  • Make calls to customer to promote the product.
  • Working closely with other team member to achieve sales target.
  • Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
  • Other responsibilities entailed.

The Person:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification.
  • Proactively and efficiently to perform tasks assign.
  • Compliance with Great Eastern's policy and guidelines.
  • Sales driven & result oriented.
  • Accountability & team player.
  • Comfortable working over the telephone.
  • Proficiency in English / Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
