Job Context: The Sustainability Executive plays a crucial role in supporting and overseeing sustainability initiatives and strategies within the organization. This position requires a professional with a background in sustainability practices, project management, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis. The role will support Group Sustainability in core functions such as rolling out the Sustainability Framework, Net-Zero Carbon Roadmap, and TCFD. This includes data analysis and preparation of reports to communicate performance and identify gaps for improvement. Develop standards and procedures to standardize processes. Communicating and training Operating Companies (OpCos) is key, to enabling alignment and meeting set KPIs/targets and goals.

SCOPE & AUTHORITY• Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives, policies / procedures, and guidelines that align with the Axiata’s Sustainability Framework/agenda including Secretariat function.• Track and monitor Axiata’s sustainability/ESG performance, including updates to internal and external stakeholders as well as support preparation for Sustainability & National Contribution Report (SNCR) and ESG ratings.• Consolidate, review and analyse Group emissions (Scope 1, 2 and 3) per GHG Protocol, Group GHG Guidelines, SBTi and GSMA guidelines.• Review and refine carbon and energy database structure and dashboards.• Provide guidance and consultation in-house to Axiata Corporate Centre and OpCos on carbon inventory, climate-related matters and ESG reporting.•Collaborate with internal departments within Corporate Centre and across OpCos to integrate sustainability practices into their processes and strategies; to foster alignment to Group-wide direction and initiatives.• Focus on TCFD framework roll-out and action plans; which includes supporting the development and roll-out of climate scenario analysis tool• Stay up to date with sustainability best practices, trends, and regulations, and prepare relevant materials across different platforms to share insights and developments with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESULT AREAS• Develop reports that provide an overview of sustainability performance and all matters related to the Group’s sustainability and particularly, climate agenda.• Track and monitor group wide GHG emissions and support initiatives toward Net Zero• Development of sustainability disclosure that fulfill stakeholder expectations and requirements to ensure visibility on Axiata’s ongoing sustainability journey.

JOB REQUIREMENT

- A Bachelor's degree with preference in a sustainability-related field or equivalent experience, such as environmental studies or sustainability management. Preference towards those with Engineering or Environmental background / certification / experience

-Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, sustainability reporting (e.g. Bursa, GRI Standards), and monitoring sustainability KPIs.-1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or related fields.-Knowledge on sustainability standards and carbon accounting standards such as GHG Protocol, GRI Standards inclusive of sustainability practices (existing and upcoming)-Good understanding on sustainability (including metrics), climate change, carbon trends and net-zero and reporting/disclosure requirements-Strong research and analytical skills for data monitoring and analysis-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels (stakeholder management).-Proficient with using Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
