JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

  1. To assist Private Wealth in achieving sales revenue in the wide range of wealth products.
  2. To source, collate, analyse and disseminate timely market information, views and updates to all sales personnel.
  3. To provide sales personnel with investment pitch and general market/asset classes discussion.
  4. To identify investment opportunities according to market conditions with existing offering by Private Wealth.
  5. To facilitate investment advisory support Private Wealth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Information Compilation & Analysis

  • Source, obtain and digest market news, updates and market outlook from various internal and external sources such as Kenanga Research, Kenanga Investors Berhad's Fund Managers, business partners and major financial media.
  • Identify investment opportunities basing on current data and market environment to provide sound investment advice.
  • Monitoring and tracking of performances of various market including unit trust funds.

Sales and Revenue

  • To ensure department’s revenue are achieved through need-based selling.
  • Idea generation for investments strategies and portfolio enhancement for clients.
  • Provide Private wealth with timely product focus and sales pitch.

Engagement with distribution channel, internal parties and clients

  • To establish close working relationship with Private Wealth Managers, agents, and clients through F2F meetings/briefings, teleconferencing and events.
  • Joint appointments with PWM to establish clients’ needs and designing the suitable portfolio.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or an equivalent discipline to ensure a solid foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Candidates must have successfully passed the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) certification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the Wealth Management industry
  • Candidates must have hands-on experience in engaging directly with clients, providing personalized wealth management solutions, and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of a wide range of financial products, including mutual funds, unit trusts, insurance, bonds, and investment-linked products
