Job Summary:

As the Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee all food and beverage operations at Elegant Fine Food, including culinary services, restaurant management, and beverage programs. Your role will be to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, maintain high operational standards, and meet or exceed financial targets. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive the growth and excellence of the food and beverage operations.

Candidate Profile:

Education and Experience -

High school diploma or GED, with minimum 3 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.

OR

A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence
• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
• Assist guests in selecting menu items by providing detailed information about the offerings at the F&B outlets, ensuring an informed dining experience.
• Accurately take and record food and beverage orders, ensuring all guest preferences and dietary needs are noted.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely, seamless, and efficient service delivery.
• Serve food and beverages with precision, ensuring accuracy in orders and presentation that meets the restaurant’s high standards.
• Anticipate and proactively address guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing exceptional service.
• Offer personalized recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Process guest payments efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to accurate cash handling and payment procedures.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including proper table setup, resetting, and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Work collaboratively with the team to foster a positive, enjoyable, and welcoming dining atmosphere for all guests.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and manage the Food and Beverage team, ensuring seamless daily operations.
• Lead by example, using interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and motivate the team.
• Foster a workplace culture of teamwork, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching and counseling to team members, encouraging trust, respect, and cooperation.
• Set clear performance expectations and reward employees who exceed those expectations.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Ensure exceptional service by anticipating guest needs and providing personalized attention.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback and resolve any concerns to their satisfaction.
• Promote the brand’s service culture, aligning the team to deliver consistently outstanding service.
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and a guest-first approach in all interactions.

Human Resource Management:

• Provide leadership and direction to staff, setting performance standards and conducting timely reviews.
• Identify staff development needs and provide coaching, mentorship, and training as needed.
• Foster open communication and a positive workplace environment.
• Develop action plans to address areas of improvement, using feedback from employee engagement and guest satisfaction metrics.
