Job Purpose:

The Senior HR Generalist is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to the HR team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the HR function. The role will focus on generalist HR activities, including recruitment of expatriates, employee relations, performance management,payroll management, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain effective onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations activities.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on performance improvement plans and goal-setting.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance matters.

Generalist HR Activities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide generalist HR support to employees, including answering questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance.
  • Assist in the coordination of special projects and initiatives as needed.

HR Administration:

  • Manage HR databases and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, including turnover rates, time-to-hire, and other key metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee data, including personnel files, benefits information, and attendance records.

Communication:

  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of company policies, procedures, and changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR Department with minimum 5-7 years experience as HR Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset.
  • Ability to handle payroll system will be added advantage.
  • Familiar with expatriates hiring process.
