  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Project Overview:

We are currently engaged in a project focused on helping our client expand their market in Southeast Asia, with one of the focus being in Malaysia. This project involves conducting preliminary market research to identify opportunities for consulting firms specializing in solid waste management and the circular economy, aiming to support sustainable development and researches efficiency in the region.

This is a remote role. You will be responsible to conduct desk research within the key information areas below:

  • Market Analysis: Identifying key stakeholders (government agencies, municipalities, private companies, NGOs), assess the current state of waste management, and analyze market trends
  • Regulatory Framework: Review relevant regulations and policies on circular economy and waste management
  • Competitive Landscape: Identify competitors in the consulting market and assess their strengths and weaknesses
  • Potential Clients: Identify and analyze the needs of potential clients in the solid waste management sector
  • Potential Partners: Identify and assess potential local partners, such as consulting firms, NGOs, or universities.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in conducting market analysis
  • Ability to commit to 1-month project
  • Has prior experience in waste management
  • Knowledge and familiarity with sustainability concepts and environmental sectors is a plus
  • Experience in Southeast Asian Markets is a plus
