Responsibilities
Provides knowledge and consultafion in the form of developing HVAC system related solufions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based considerafions
Ufilizes account management process to idenfify key customers and to develop specific acfion plans to grow idenfified accounts.
Idenfifies potenfial opportunifies with exisfing and new customers.
Converts leads into opportunifies by assigning the appropriate sales process, idenfifying the required project team members, making assignments, and communicafing the next steps in the process.
Develops relafionships with mulfiple buying influences in the customer’s organizafion, including project managers, project engineers, construcfion, purchasing, and accounts payable.
Gathers and validates preliminary informafion and performs facility walk through, construcfion plan review or other requirements.
Determines project needs, constraints, and responsibilifies to meet all of the customer’s HVAC system design and installafion requirements.
Develops, evaluates, and discusses possible solufions with customer.
Develops preliminary project fulfillment schedule.
Responsible for project take-off, selecfion, pricing, and integrafion of equipment, controls, and services.
Responsible for the preparafion and review of the proposal.
Validates the preliminary proposal with customer.
Determines proposal price and selling strategy.
Reviews and compares contract terms and condifions with Trane contract standards.
Presents the proposal and negofiates price, terms, and condifions with customer.
Follows up with buying influences.
Prepares transifion documents and communicates project readiness for assignment to operafions team.
Resolves major deviafions from scope with team after Project Scope Validafion.
Determines needs, develops and executes an account specific business plan to idenfify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.

Consistently ascertains customer needs and current market opportunifies.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Have existing dealings with general contractors or industrial end users
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering documents.
Able to solve complex problems. Integrates and interprets data from diverse sources to find solufions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
