The Senior Manager of Logistics and Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves managing the development and submission of competitive bid and tender proposals for Wasco’s global pipe coating business, with a particular focus on global logistics. This role will lead efforts in materials management, subcontracting, and warehousing, ensuring all activities are performed in an optimal and economical manner. The role also includes strategic planning to improve processes, enhance supplier relationships, and support project teams to achieve Wasco’s business objectives.

Job Scope

Supply Chain

• Lead collaboration with SCM divisions in Kuantan, Qatar, UK, and Greece to identify, develop, and implement best practices, standardized procedures, and process improvements across all SCM activities.

• Oversee the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of contracts, including bid proposals, contract amendments, and associated documentation.

• Manage the entire contract administration process, from proposal creation to negotiation, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly communicated to internal departments and external stakeholders.

• Monitor contract deadlines and conditions, ensuring timelines are met and all relevant payments and information are completed.

• Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and project alignment.

• Work with legal, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure contracts adhere to internal and external policies and procedures.

• Evaluate, implement, and maintain procurement technology solutions to streamline processes, increase automation, and enhance overall efficiency.

• Develop and implement logistics procedures to ensure efficient and effective transportation of materials and equipment, including adherence to customs regulations and necessary documentation.

• Plan and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, evaluating transportation costs and strategies within budget constraints.

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to logistics and transportation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management Role
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in related field
  • Oil & Gas experience required, preferably in a manufacturing & project-based environment
