The Solution Manager will be a key member of our dynamic Wholesale Team – a critical business function – and provides technical consultation for company products. Working closely with the sales team on proposals and pitches for business teams to ensure that the products being offered can be tailored to meet the customer requirements.

Job description:

  • Provide technical consultation to sales team and customers to address customer’s requirements in connectivity, broadband, DC, cloud and managed services, on-net solutions, off-net solutions and customized solution.
  • Collaborate with internal team and external team (network, engineering, product, costing, etc) to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
  • To prepare statement of compliance to ensure that all solutions involving 3rd party partner is having terms covered back-to-back by partners, including but not limited to SLA, SLG, contract term, termination clause, etc
  • Conduct technical presentation proposal & product training to internal & external customer
  • To spear head in technical aspect of any project/tender/RFI/RFQ/RFP.
  • Work closely with vendors and technology partners to develop appropriate solutions for customers business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Engineering/Telecommunications/IT
  • At least 3-5 years experience in Telecommunications/IT field or a similar role.
  • Experience in technical solution for OTT & service providers.
  • High level of self-discipline, self-motivator, and interpersonal skill
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong understanding of OTT & Global Service Provider business models, technical requirements, and challenges, with good relationship with OTT & Global Service Provider.
  • Broad technical knowledge of IP, content delivery networks (CDNs), DWDM, Metro Ethernet, fiber optics technology, outside plant (OSP) of telecommunications networks.
  • Familiar with Subsea/Terrestrial cable network, datacenters in Malaysia & Asia overall.
  • Ability to prepare solution diagram, preparing KMZ using Google Earth, read through & understand agreement and contracts.
