  • Plan & organize contracts and administer contractual obligations including Tender Schedule and Specifications.
  • Liaison and review consultants’ tender documents (including BQ), contract documents, financial reports, cost estimation, progress claims, V.O., evaluation of claims etc.
  • Review, evaluate and negotiate tenders or quotations received and make recommendations to the Management.
  • Preparation of taking of quantity from construction drawing.
  • Coordination of the review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tenders are included.
  • Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raising queries for clarification.
  • Preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.
  • Attend technical meetings with the contractor and weekly progress meetings if required by the Project Manager.
  • Ensure full coordination between all other disciplines/Trades has been carried out for all external and internal MEP services.
  • Preparation of Cost Estimation for MEP Works (Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants, and other misc.
  • Invite the Quotation from Sub-Contractor/Supplier, Negotiation and Comparison, and ability to prepare pre-contract & tender activity.
  • Maintenance and update of Approved Sub-Contractor/Supplier database.
  • Ensure that the project management subcontract is being properly executed
  • Oversees the evaluation of QS quantity orders.
  • The assignment of responsibility to the project manager.
  • Work closely with other teams, such as finance or legal on contractual related issues.
  • Full-time Bachelor Degree or above, major in engineering management or architecture
  • Have more than three years of experience in engineering procurement or QS
  • Strong negotiation, communication and management skills
  • Proficient in Mandarin
  • Good health
  • Priority will be given to those with QS work experience.
