Job Responsibilities:

1. Review and verify invoices and check request.

2. Process payments accurately and in a timely manner.

3. Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

4. Maintain accurate historical records by filing documents properly.

5. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

6. Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors.

7. Prepare and process electronic transfers, check runs, and payment batches.

8. Assist in month-end closing procedures and support general ledger postings.

9. Prepare and update reports for management on payable and disbursement activities.

10. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and controls in accounts payable.

11. Perform other ad-hoc tasks given by the Management.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

2. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

3. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle and MS Excel.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

6. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.

7. Willing to work on off / rest days if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,400.00 per month
