Responsibilities:
1. Supplier relationship management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain and timely delivery of materials
2. Strategic sourcing – Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability and alignment with company goals and value.
3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure favourable terms for the company.
4. Cost management – Monitor and control costs associated with procurement activities, including material costs, logistic costs and inventory carrying costs.
5. Inventory management – Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reduce lead times and minimize excess / obsolete inventory.
6. Work with supplier to ensure the quality and reliability of materials and components meet industry standards and company requirements.
7. Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain such as supply disruptions, geopolitical issues or quality problems.
8. Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations and company policies in procurement practices.
9. Continuously improve procurement processes, supplier performance and supply chain efficiency to enhance competitiveness and reduce costs.
10. Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders such as production, engineering and management team to align procurement activities with business objectives and requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related field.
2. Experience in procurement & supply chain management within the semiconductor industry.
3. Strong understanding of semiconductor technology and industry trends.
4. Knowledge of sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques and supplier management.
5. Ability to review, analyze and negotiate contract terms with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and pricing.
6. Familiarity with intellectual property rights, confidentiality agreements and other legal considerations specific to the semiconductor industry.
7. Familiar with procurement system and software.
8. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
