This individual will be responsible for developing brand strategies, marketing plans, and product innovations to drive product growth. They should feel comfortable working cross-functionally to execute these strategies and ensure brand consistency.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive sales growth.
  2. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
  3. Assist in creating and implementing marketing campaigns, advertising materials, and promotional activities to support brand objectives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and creative departments to ensure brand consistency and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  5. Monitor and analyze market trends, sales performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for brand improvement and growth.
  6. Support in conducting regular brand performance analysis and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
  7. Assist in managing social media platforms and online presence to engage with customers and build brand loyalty.
  8. Coordinate with external agencies, suppliers, and partners to execute marketing activities within budget and timelines.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitors' activities to provide insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in marketing or brand management, preferably in the FMCG industry with at least 4 years of experience. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market research data and translate it into actionable insights.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Chinese, English & Malay to effectively convey brand messages and interact with cross-functional teams. Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and propose innovative marketing ideas.
  4. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
