  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the Compliance team and plan and develop working tools for compliance monitoring purposes.
  • Plan and oversee execution of all compliance monitoring process prior to any submission to the SC/relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Review on any material changes and/or recommendations for material changes to the Compliance policies and procedures as a result of annual review.
  • Ensure all relevant guidelines are cascaded to all upon issuance of all relevant laws, rules & regulations.
  • Regulatory and business subject matter expert who understands business processes, able to interpret new rules, regulations, guidelines and standards as well as its specific implications on business to operationalize and apply these regulatory requirements and industry best practices into practical business plans, policies, solutions and processes that ensure Maybank Islamic Asset Management /Maybank Asset Management Group remains compliant.
  • Taking into consideration the interest of business optimization and the expectation of the laws and regulations which are always competing towards a win-win situation.
  • Develop some tools for educational and awareness purposes i.e in relation to anti money laundering and anti terrorism financing.

Requirement :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree / degree in Accounting, Law or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 5 years working experience in related areas.
  • Have good relationship / experience dealing with the relevant regulators e.g Securities Commission, Bank Negara Malaysia.
  • Have good communication skills and able to work independently.
  • Good time management skills to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • A good self-starter who is resourceful and systematic with a keen eye for details.
  • Computer literate.
